'Shadow of Terror' was created to experiment with interactive data visualizations using large data-sets. The data for this excercise was obtained from the global terrorism database. MS Excel was used to calculate the severity of attacks based on a custom built formula. The attacks were then plotted using the TileMill client and modified using MapBox.js.
