'Reach' was a Windows phone app envisioned for the Microsoft Design challenge held at DFROST 2013. The brief given was to come up with a money transfer application that stands out from the rest of the apps in the market. During my research, I realized that money transfer apps are rarely used in India. The reasons for this are multiple - lack of a steady internet connection, lack of trust in letting an application handle money, complicated interfaces, etc. Besides this, the point that was the crux of the app was that common 'Indian' scenarios of money transfer were not considered in any of these apps. Consolidating all these insights, I conceptualized 'Reach' - the name signifying how the app brings your money within your reach instantly. The app was designed with an aim to simplify the 'process' of transfer of money itself, and instead, give the user more features associated with money transfer that he can use.
