As part of an assignment on cartography, we were asked to interpret any given place of our choice schematically on a map. I chose Hampi as my subject and decided to plot major tourist attractions in and around Hampi. Certain considerations guided the design process of this map. Some of them being :
1. The map should be evocative of the place being depicted.
2. Every map created need not look like Google maps.
3. Use texture in addition to color to demarcate areas.
4. The map should be mythology-esque ith a modern twist.
